Set the Lock Screen Password on Android Device

When setting a password, you must first find the location where the lock screen password is set, first of all, go to “Settings” app, then swipe down and find “Security”, you can see a menu function setting option such as “Screen Security and Protection” inside of that. Click it in, and then you will enter the password setting interface.

  1. Set the pattern password

In the password setting interface, select and click the “Pattern Password” setting. When setting, connect and draw patterns according to the nine dots that appear on the screen. When setting passwords, you must connect at least four dots. When connecting, the line cannot be disconnected. You can draw all the desired patterns at once, and then continue to draw while setting them. You can press the lock screen button to confirm whether it is successful.

  1. Set the digital password

Setting a digital password is the same as selecting “Digital Password” at the password position on the screen, but this function key is in “Use other password types”. Click it to set the password. Generally, the digital password is not less than four digits. Choose your own digital combination and enter it twice according to the prompt.

The mixed password setting is a password set by mixing letters and numbers. In “Use other password types”, you can see the choice of “mixed password”, which consists of six passwords, containing at least one letter or number, and then freely combined. Just enter it twice.

Disable the Lock Screen Password on Android

  1. Run the “Setting” app of the mobile phone to enter the setting interface, and click “Security and Privacy” in the setting interface.
  2. Jump to the security and privacy interface of, and click “Lock Screen and Password” to enter the setting interface of lock screen.
  3. Click “Lock Screen Password” under the lock screen and password.
  4. After entering the lock screen password interface, click “No password” at the top of the option to enter the lock screen password setting interface. Enter the password setting interface of the lock screen.
  5. In the window that pops up after clicking no password, click “Continue” at the bottom right, and then the phone will clear the lock screen password. After clearing, the lock screen of the phone will be cancelled.

Disable the Automatic Screen Lock on Android

  1. Go to “Settings” on your device.
  2. Swipe down and tap “Lock Screen”.
  3. Tap on “Automatic screen lock”.

Disable the Screen Lock Wallpaper on Android

  1. Launch Settings on your device.
  2. Select Wallpaper (Wallpaper and style).
  3. Launch Gallery and select the new wallpaper from your internal storage or choose My Wallpapers to select a new wallpaper out of the generic wallpapers that come with the system.
  4. Choose the Lock screen when prompted. You can also set the same wallpaper on both Home Screen and Lock Screen.

Disable Dynamic Wallpapers on Android

  1. Launch Settings > Wallpapers.
  2. Select Lock Screen wallpaper services or something similar on other Android skins.
  3. Tap on “None” to disable the dynamic wallpapers.
