Tutorial to Recover Deleted Contacts from Galaxy S7/S7 Edge

Step 1. Connect Galaxy S7/S7 Edge to Your Computer and Enable USB Debugging

Download and install the Samsung Data Recovery software and run it, then connect your Galaxy S7 (Edge) to the computer via a USB Cable.

And then, it requires you to enable USB debugging. It is a little bit hard for some people. However, don’t worry about that. Take a good look at the instruction in the window of Samsung Galaxy Recovery and all you need to do is to follow the instruction below, there is some differences for different operating systems:

1.For Android 2.3 or earlier versions: tap “Settings” > click “Applications” > click “Development” > check “USB debugging”.
2.For Android 3.0 to 4.1: tap “Settings “> click “Developer options” > check “USB debugging”.
3.For Android 4.2 or later versions: tap “Settings” > click “About Phone” > tap “Build number” for several times until getting the note “You are under developer mode”. Go back to “Settings” > click “Developer options” > check “USB debugging”.
